Huntsman Textile Effects has redesigned its Novasol vat dyes for the most demanding end uses, such as the military market.
The company said it has re-engineered the handling characteristics to the highest standard in the final stages of dye production, allowing mills to use them easily and consistently for garments in use under extreme conditions.
Novasol dyes are designed to last regardless of the wear and tear they are often subjected to and are compatible with a whole range of effects from protective to retardants and repellents.
Huntsman has a dedicated modern standardisation unit equipped with high performing wet mills controlled by the latest particle size measurement equipment. All incoming raw materials (crude dyes, dispersing agents) are tested and all finished goods are verified to comply with stringent product specifications for the application of Novasol vat dyes at the dyeing mills.
