A newly established procurement platform titled Taiwan Tex Sourcing was developed with this in mind.
The Taiwan Tex Sourcing platform, organised by Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), is a strategic business tool that helps retailers and brands source qualified Taiwanese textile mills who supply functional fabrics with healthcare, comfort, safety and sustainability benefits. On the platform, a detailed specification and images of the functional fabrics are well illustrated alongside the contact details of each mill.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the platform was developed as an easy tool for all buyers, designers, merchandisers, and trade professionals of retailers and brands to source high-quality and performance textiles.

The Taiwan Tex Sourcing platform features a responsive interface design that allows a cross device browsing experience. Each supplier has its own online space to exhibit assorted products within customised categories for potential buyers. Buyers can use the interactive functions – such as real-time sample requesting and online messaging – to improve the procurement efficiency. The platform is categorised and arranged by product functions, lifestyle themes and events for buyers to browse with ease.
Additionally, suppliers can analyse the backend data periodically to examine the latest market trends and merchandise information, utilising precision marketing strategies to promote market opportunities. The integration of the digital platform with traditional events is beneficial for both suppliers and buyers to interact and make transactions on the event section of platform.
