WTiN is seeking a full-time Assistant Editor with a passion for the written word to join its Content team. This role is focused on research and writing articles about aspects of the textile industry, its companies and technological advances, for publication on the web portal wtin.com and in WTiN’s international B2B journals. Its focus will be on the strategically important and innovative areas of activewear, outdoor clothing, smart textiles, nonwovens as well as industrial knitting. The role also offers multiple opportunities for international travel for industry events, both in the UK and overseas, to gather content and to assist with video and newspaper production.
Your status: Recent graduate
Educational background: An English or Journalism-related degree, with a portfolio of previously published work.
Experience in writing about textiles and for B2B outlets is not essential but would be advantageous. Candidates with a textile qualification will be considered if they can demonstrate a flair for writing.
