Digital print service provider Colourama has implemented EFI Reggiani’s new ecoTERRA pigment solution.
The Lodz-based print house sells fabrics to support its textile printing services and is the first company in Poland to implement ecoTERRA as it looks to minimise its environmental footprint.
Most of the company’s printed fabric is exported for interior applications, while around 40% of its output is used to manufacture fast fashion.
In this interview, Colourama’s business development manager Bert Benckhuysen discusses the benefits of being an EFI Reggiani customer and outlines the environmental advantages afforded by ecoTERRA.
The technology doesn’t require pre-treated fabric, which significantly reduces water, chemical and energy consumption. Fewer process steps mean ecoTERRA users, such as Colourama, can achieve faster time-to-market and therefore service the demands of modern-day consumers more easily.
