Sustainability
We are steadily working on improving the impact of our business activities on the environment at all of the company's sites. Energy efficiency is a top priority at Getzner Textil, and is actively incorporated into the production processes. On the one hand, this can be achieved by using the latest technologies, and on the other, through the ongoing modernisation of our already existing plant and equipment. Numerous certificates such as bluesign® and OEKO-TEX® confirm our active commitment. Furthermore, our internal development department has achieved good results when it comes to working with polyamides made from castor oil and biomass.
We will also be showing new fabrics made from a polyamide that is produced from recycled car tyres. Visitors to the Techtextil trade fair will have the opportunity to find out more about our numerous measures for more sustainable textile production at the "Econogy Talks".
