Savio will be showcasing its new winding machine, Proxima Smartconer, and new air-jet spinning machine, LYBRA Smartspinner, at the ITMA Asia + CITME 2024 exhibition in Shanghai from 14 to 18 October 2024.

The name of its new winding model combines Proxima with Smartconer because it stands for a high-tech machine that can adapt to the demands of Connectivity, Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), according to Savio.

It has been designed to offer spinners the competitive advantage of high productivity, low energy consumption, premium yarn quality, automation and data connectivity.

Proxima Smartconer is said to reduce manual and repetitive tasks to achieve faster and more efficient spinning with less waste, less maintenance and less resource usage.

Meanwhile, Savio says it developed its new air-jet spinning machine: LYBRA Smartspinner with an original spinning technology to serve its customers in the specific applications of knitting, home textiles and sunshades. Air-jet spun yarn has a soft and smooth character, which makes it adaptable to create functional and fashionable fabrics.
