The University of Leeds is educating international fashion brands on how textile manufacturing impacts the environment.
Spanish multinational Inditex, whose brands include Zara, Massimo Dutti, Zara Home, Bershka, Stradivarius and Pull & Bear, has staff taking part in online professional development courses run by the university’s School of Design. The courses are run through the school’s recently established Professional Academy for Creative Enterprise (PACE).
Together with PACE, Inditex established the Sustainable Fashion School (SFS), to provide an accredited online course specifically for its commercial teams.
