Interloop sets sustainability benchmark

Faisalabad, Pakistan – 24 July, 2024 - Interloop has reaffirmed its leadership in responsible manufacturing with top performance on the Higg Index, a global standard for evaluating environmental impact and sustainability practices across production facilities, developed by Cascale (formerly Sustainable Apparel Coalition).
The Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) 4.0 scores for Interloop's facilities have significantly exceeded the global industry average of 43.44.
- Hosiery Plants 1, 2 and 4: 76
- Hosiery Plant 3: 74
- Denim Plant: 69.4
- Apparel Park (Hosiery Plant 5 and Apparel Plant 2): 73
These scores focus on critical areas including water use, waste management, chemical handling, and energy consumption across operations.
