Lingerie start-up collaborates with Lenzing

Lenzing, Austria – 14 June, 2024 – On 13 June 2024, Lingerie Swiss presented the world's first luxury hygiene lingerie under the label Câlin Doré™ (French for ‘Golden Embrace’) to more than 150 invited guests in Geneva. Câlin Doré™ is a collection of high-quality lingerie that features an extremely thin, natural and above all ‘invisible’ absorbent pad. This breathable pad allows the lingerie to be worn safely every day, not just during menstruation. It combines secure protection with maximum comfort and elegant design.

Câlin Doré™ is the first label to combine elegant lingerie with women's daily hygiene requirements. Everyday hygiene protection that is invisible, unnoticeable and, above all, not harmful to health is integrated into the lingerie.

In almost two years of collaboration with Lenzing AG, a patented (patent pending) absorbent pad was developed based on TENCEL™ branded lyocell and modal fibers. This pad is so soft and delicate and discreetly integrated into the lingerie that it is imperceptible from the outside and goes virtually unnoticed when worn. Despite its delicacy, it has a very high storage volume, ensures that the wearer feels permanently dry and is breathable. It is completely free of chemical additives, plastic, silver ions and biocides and neutralises odours thanks to the natural properties of the material.

All the lingerie fabrics, including the decorative lace, are made from TENCEL™ Lyocell and Modal, fibers derived from natural raw material wood. They are certified as biodegradable and compostable1. To minimise the overall CO2 footprint, the lingerie developed in Switzerland is manufactured exclusively by hand in Europe.

The collection currently comprises four models, which are available in two versions: DAILY, for everyday use all year round, and EXTRA, with an ultra-fine membrane made from recycled raw materials for days with increased fluid retention needs.
