Between 21 October and 1 November thousands of policymakers, conservations and business leaders descended on the Colombian city of Cali for the United Nations’ (UN) biennial summit, the Conference of the Parties (COP16).
Under the theme Peace with Nature, this was the first Biodiversity COP since the adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, to halt biodiversity loss by 2030.
