São Paulo, Brazil – 2 October, 2024 – Seeking to develop products that preserve the environment and meet the needs of the textile sector, with sustainability and ethics as a focus, is in the DNA of the São Paulo/Brazil-based industry Sintequímica.
Based on these vectors, the company obtained the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) MRSL (Manufacture Restricted Substance List) V3.1 Level 2 certification for the line of pigment dispersions and auxiliary products used by the textile segment, mainly in printing. This certification is a global initiative that aims to eliminate the discharge of hazardous chemical substances by the textile industry.
“It is a great joy and satisfaction to be able to offer a complete line of chemical products certified by ZDHC, which reflect our commitment to protecting the environment and sustainability, something that has always permeated our activities over the years. With this certification, we guarantee our customers the highest standard of chemical safety, so that they can offer their products in a market that increasingly demands high levels of commitment to sustainability,” explains Sintequímica's commercial director, Marcelo Amaral Leite de Macedo.
“With this certification, we reaffirm our commitment to providing high-quality products that are safe for our customers and the planet. We thank all partners and customers for their continued support and for being part of this sustainable journey with us,” added the executive. The certification announcement was made during Febratex 2024, which took place in Blumenau (SC) at the end of August."
