
Fibre manufacturer Hyosung shares its aim to move towards a fully circular system by 2050 with WTiN.
Hyosung, the world’s largest spandex manufacturer by market share, is aiming for net zero by 2050 and is committed to moving to a fully circular system.
The fibre manufacturer based in Seoul, South Korea has formed a number of important partnerships to advance its position and investment in the world of renewable materials and biobased elastane.
Simon Whitmarsh-Knight, global sustainability director textiles for Hyosung said: “We believe our technical capabilities and quality are second to none. But with regulations coming in for sustainability, brands and retailers need to work more closely with their fibre providers to collaborate on solutions to help them reach their goals.”
