Munich, Germany – 7 July, 2025 - The ISPO Textrends Award recognises innovative material designs that push the limits of functionality, sustainability, and performance.
As the sportswear sector continues to evolve, ISPO Textrends serves as a vital platform for presenting the most innovative and forward-thinking products. The multidisciplinary textile jury emphasized strengths in sustainability, creativity, and performance, all of which contribute to circularity in the industry.
For the Spring/Summer season, highlights include bio-based synthetics, mono fabrics, and multi-functional performance features such as UV protection and cool touch materials. Overall, the jury noted a heightened sense of responsibility throughout the textile supply chain. Textiles and trims have been developed to encourage brand developers and designers to consider the end-of-life of a garment right from the design stage.
