Interloop Regen Kapas earns certification
Press release provided by Interloop
Faisalabad, Pakistan – 15 July, 2025 - Interloop Limited’s Regen Kapas project has earned Regenagri® certification from Control Union, advancing the company’s sustainable cotton journey.
Launched a year ago, Interloop Regen Kapas spans 25 villages across southern Punjab, partnering with 1,000 farmers covering 6,000+ acres.
Working with grassroots partner REEDS Pakistan, the project supports farmers transitioning to regenerative practices that restore soil health, encourage biodiversity, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. For Pakistani farmers, these practices represent a return to traditional methods that build long-term resilience while reducing production costs and increasing net farm income.
This season produced over 1,600 tonnes of cotton lint with full traceability through Looptrace technology, giving customers complete visibility into the supply chain.
“Regenerative farming isn’t new to Pakistan, it’s how we’ve farmed for generations,” said Navid Fazil, CEO of Interloop. “We’re simply scaling that wisdom to give farmers the tools and market access they need while restoring the soil health that decades of chemical farming have compromised.”
The certification advances Interloop’s goal of 70% sustainable material sourcing and its transition to 100% sustainable cotton. To learn more about the company’s sustainability initiatives and traceability efforts, visit: interloop-pk.com/traceability.
