Colouration and regenerative materials were key topics at Future Fabrics Expo (FFE), which took place at Magazine London, on 24-25 June 2025. The event, hosted by The Sustainable Angle, coincided with London Climate Action Week.

Over the two days at FFE there were 2,000+ visitors, 150+ organisations and 80+ speakers in attendance. Visitors were able to source from thousands of certified, sustainably, and responsibly produced materials; connect with leading material producers; discover new innovations and technologies at the Innovation Hub; hear from leaders, designers and brands at the Seminar Series; and discover The Footwear Hub and Home and Interiors area.

The fashion and textile industries are amongst the world’s most polluting and have been the focus of FFE’s work, to initiate positive change within the industry. The materials showcased at FFE were accompanied by educational background information and the seminars allowed thought leaders, brands and designer discuss key topics affecting the industry as it moves towards a more sustainable future.

There were many discussions happening over the two-day event about topics such as scaling and commercialisation, reshoring
