As the countdown to TITAS 2025 begins, over 400 exhibitors are excited to welcome visitors to the 29th edition of the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show. Following a successful event in 2024, the region’s leading tradeshow for functional fabric applications and high-performance textiles will once again be held at Taiwan’s Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 from 14-16 October 2025.

While this year’s edition will focus on innovation and sustainability in functional textile applications and intelligent manufacturing, the show’s featured Catwalk Stage – organised by the Textile Export Promotion Project (TEPP) (live on both 14 and 15 October) – is set to be an important highlight for visitors. The TEPP program has been dedicated for years to promoting Taiwan's sustainable functional textiles and uncovering innovative highlights. This fashion show aims to highlight the collaboration between prominent Taiwanese fashion designers and innovative textile manufacturers.

Running throughout the first 2 days of the event on the show floor at the central stage, which is also used for the opening ceremony of TITAS 2025, there will also be a dedicated TEPP program showcase area called Taiwan Textile Select to presents sustainable and top innovations in sportwear, outdoorwear, workwear and smart textiles.

GrandeTex

One company showcasing its products at the Catwalk Stage is Grandetex – a specialist technical textile manufacturer of woven and knitted products in functional fabric for indoor, outdoor, sportswear, activewear and workwear. With a skilled management team and textile experts, GrandeTex says it ensures top-quality materials through the strict control of knitting, weaving, dyeing and finishing. Its focus is on expanding its clients’ product ranges with innovative developments, offering greater flexibility. Serving markets in Europe, Asia and the Pacific region, the company adds it is committed to delivering high-performance fabrics worldwide and will showcase this at the Catwalk.

GrandeTex will showcase its offerings alongside its Spfloe, a Taiwan-based clothing brand with identity and diversity at its core that works closely with GrandeTex. The brand says: “Each piece begins with textile craftsmanship we know intimately, and within every material choice lies a deep respect and contemplation for the environment.” Visitors can see Spfloe’s collections – using GrandeTex solutions – at the Catwalk Stage.

HerMin Textile

Also featured on the Catwalk is HerMin Textile. Founded in 1976, HerMin Textile is a Taiwan textile company that specialises in developing and producing sustainable functional fabrics. The company says it is committed to relentlessly pursuing the production of sustainable yet functional fabrics. The company explains: “In addition to our dedication to sourcing all-natural materials for weaving, we continue to explore new sources of environmentally friendly solutions.” Its recently increased resources have been allocated to both its research and development (R&D) and design teams to drive innovative creations.

Showcasing HerMin’s functional fabrics is its Taiwan-based Weavism. In close cooperation with HerMin, the brand specialises in sustainable fashion and sports-based apparel and has recently transformed its strategy to explore design cycles outside of the traditional fashion seasons.

“Over the past decade, Weavism has adhered to the fashion week schedule, launching new products each season. However, the fleeting sense of achievement and the rapid obsolescence of materials and designs led us to rethink our approach. We believe good materials and designs should not be bound by seasonal trends but deserve thorough exploration and experimentation,” the company says. As such, the company aims to focus on developing “local, fresh and sustainable” items in irregular capsule format, prioritising quality and sustainability over quantity outside of seasonal constraints.

Sabrina Fashion Industrial Corp

Innovative apparel and sportswear producer Sabrina Fashion Industrial Corp will also showcase its products on the Catwalk Stage. The Taiwan-based producer, founded in 1974, has become one of the largest producers of performance apparel globally. The company says: Our extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge of the sewing process have enabled us to provide the best assistance and guidance to businesses of all sizes.”

The company creates high-quality sports apparel – including for running, weight training, cycling, protective gear, tennis, golf and various other sports – for some of the world’s leading sports brands. It has established production bases across North Asia, Southeast Asia and South America.

At the event, Sabrina will be showcasing two of its brands. The first is its innovation arm, Evology, which focuses on smart textiles, and the second is its fashion brand, Choir. The latter looks to elevate daily wear through meticulous design and high-quality materials, the company says.

Evology, meanwhile, aims to transform conventional garments through the integration of modern technology. Established in late 2017, the company aims to bridge the gap between refined garment craftsmanship and emerging future-ready apparel. Its work is centred around embedding innovative elements, such as kinesiology-based compression support, active cooling and heating features, and sensory fabrics into functional and performance wear. It says: “We design garments that capture electrical signals from the body and brain, regulate temperature, pair them with intelligent monitoring systems that deliver real-time insights into the user’s physical state, and put intelligent thermal control and biometric feedback directly at their fingertips.”
