Sponsored by Taiwan Textile Federation

A total of 388 exhibitors from 10 countries will gather at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan, from 14-16 October 2025 for the 29th Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS). The event will showcase key innovations in critical trend areas across the textile value chain including Taiwan, the US, Switzerland, Sweden, Israel, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and China (including Hong Kong).

Taiwan’s textile industry stands at the forefront of global innovation in functional and sustainable high-performance textiles, driven in part by a strong commitment from stakeholders in the supply chain to continuous advancement and research & development. As Asia’s premier sourcing platform for textiles & apparel, TITAS attracts growing interest from both domestic and international organisations eager to explore new business opportunities and product innovation.

Among the notable exhibitors, the Japan Pavilion (led by the Ishikawa and Fukui Fiber Associations) will spotlight cutting-edge functional textiles and the Korean Pavilion, organised by the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Textile Industry Association, will feature a range of fashion-forward and functional products. Meanwhile, other international exhibitors will unveil the latest technologies and solutions shaping the future of the textile & apparel industry.

The 2025 edition of TITAS will focus on three major themes:

  • Sustainability
  • Functional applications
  • Intelligent manufacturing

The exhibition will showcase high-performance textiles designed for sportswear, outdoorwear and the health and medical textile industry. Exhibitors will spotlight sustainable materials that offer added functional properties such as abrasion resistance, thermal regulation and breathability. They will also highlight the integration of data and AI to deliver low-carbon, high-quality, traceable solutions – reinforcing Taiwan’s leadership in sustainability.

Sustainability and functional applications

At TITAS 2025, sustainability, circular economy, and functional performance remain central to material innovation. Formosa Plastics Group (Booth M1101) presents the theme “Beyond Textiles, Beyond Tomorrow,” showcasing cutting-edge sustainable solutions across seven themed zones-including green leisure, protective gear, and eco raw materials-through the joint efforts of Formosa Chemicals & Fibre (FCFC), Nan Ya Plastics, Formosa Plastics, and Formosa Taffeta (FTC).

FCFC introduces a closed-loop nylon 6 system that transforms marine and pre-consumer waste into regenerated fibers for outdoor use. Formosa Plastics presents GRS- and ISCC-certified PCR polypropylene (PP) fibers made with up to 85% post-consumer content. FTC features eSMORE-TEX™, a 100% nylon waterproof and breathable fabric designed for circular reuse. Nan Ya Plastics showcases 100% recycled dope-dyed and microfibers, along with functional yarns that are lightweight, quick-dry, and anti-see-through ideal for sustainable apparel.

Other companies showcasing recycled materials include Wisher Industrial (Booth M1405), who will present Wi-elastic and Wi-Shell Renew, spandex-free, recyclable stretch fabrics with low-shed, bi-stretch fleece, while Everest Textile (Booth M1316) will introduce the RE:NEO Climate Cape, made from 100% recycled PET. Thus, showcasing true circularity via chemical garment-to-garment recycling.

Other leaders in sustainability include Taiwan Taffeta Fabric (Booth M1315), who will showcase ElasLana® and climate-adaptive textiles tailored for dynamic environmental needs, and Tex-Ray Industrial (Booth M2501), who integrates sustainability and function with TCool® cooling yarns. Elsewhere, Grandetex (Booth M1503) will launch SECAO®, a biodegradable yarn from cocoa shells that turns agricultural waste into high-performance fabrics. Also, Shinkong Synthetic Fibers (Booth M2201) scales global circularity via partnerships with Ambercycle, Renu® and LOOP; and SINGTEX (Booth M1602) explores nature-inspired innovation for circular, high-performance applications.

Meanwhile, TITAS 2025 features innovators in performance materials that boast eco-friendly features. Far Eastern New Century (Booth M2101), for example, will showcase its award-winning Thermobionic and LoopFlex technologies – celebrated for adaptive performance and circular design. Eclat Textile (Booth M1402) will debut Eclat Nual, combining softness, stretch and breathability with innovative knitting structures and sustainable materials to meet high-performance demands in sportswear. Lastly, Grand Textile (Booth M2202) elevates functional textiles with its upgraded TPEE membrane and patented dyeing methods.

Intelligent manufacturing: A data-driven, sustainable future

Exhibitors at TITAS will spotlight how AI, data and sustainability are collectively transforming textiles and textile production. Lealea Group (Booth M2301) will promote traceability via Digital Product Passport technology and eco-friendly yarns. New Wide Group (Booth M2401) will showcase AI-powered design – and over 80% of its materials are described as sustainable. Chain Yarn (Booth M2402) will feature recycled yarns and 3D sampling tools to boost efficiency. Oshima (Booth M2701) advances smart production overseas with AI inspection and IoT-based defect tracking. Supporting innovation, the Department of Industrial Technology, the MOEA (Booth N3101) will present 44 AI and sustainability-driven R&D projects.

Seminars: Expanding horizons

All the while, TITAS’s seminar programme will focus on sustainability, circular innovation and AI integration. Experts across the textile value chain will share practical strategies on reducing carbon emissions, developing circular materials and leveraging AI to enhance product development, design and supply chain transparency. These sessions aim to help brands navigate fast-evolving regulations and market expectations for responsible production.

In addition to the seminars, visitors can enjoy a stage area featuring fashion shows, new product launches and trend forecasts, providing a dynamic platform for industry networking, inspiration and insight into the future of performance and sustainable textiles.

Trend Zone: Sustainable and functional textiles

The Trend Zone will showcase over 500 textile innovations, focusing on two main themes: sustainable materials and functional textiles. Functional textiles cover industrial and sports applications, including indoor, outdoor and water sportswear that emphasise comfort, durability and performance. They also cover industrial materials for transportation, manufacturing and medical use prioritising protection, safety and hygiene.

Sustainable materials highlight low-impact processing methods such as eco-friendly, low-energy, and low-water techniques, bio-based fibres, and circular and recycled content featuring pre- and post-consumer recycled fabrics, yarns, and accessories.

Connecting industry

Driven by the growing global demand for sustainable and innovative functional textiles, pushing the boundaries of performance, TITAS has become a crucial hub for connecting local and regional manufacturers with international partners. It draws delegations, buyers and sourcing teams from major global markets who are actively seeking new sourcing opportunities and partnerships.

To facilitate these connections, TITAS offers one-on-one business matchmaking, ensuring meaningful interactions that lead to business expansion. By showcasing the latest innovations in functional textiles and sustainable materials, TITAS has become renowned for fostering collaboration and is positioned as a leading event shaping the future of the sustainable textile & apparel industry worldwide.
