Workshop to scale circular systems
Press release provided by Accelerating Circularity
Lisbon, Portugal – 8 October, 2025 - Accelerating Circularity will take the stage at the Textile Exchange Conference 2025: Shifting Landscapes in Lisbon (October 13–17), leading a dedicated workshop on one of the industry’s most pressing challenges: separating trims and overlooked components to enable true textile-to-textile recycling.
The interactive session, titled Scaling Circular Systems for Trims and Other Ignored Materials (CSTIM), will be held on Wednesday, October 15, from 8:00–9:30 AM.
Over the past two years, Accelerating Circularity’s CSTIM working group has conducted research, testing, and documentation to address how trims and non-fiber components — long considered a barrier to scalable circularity can be efficiently separated to unlock higher recycling potential.
Participants in this workshop will:
- Examine real-world challenges at a commercial scale
- Discover practical solutions and case studies from the field
- Learn from operations proving that circularity is possible today
- Gain actionable insights to implement immediately within their own organizations
- Attendance is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
