The 29th Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS), running from 14-16 October 2025 at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan, will feature a show-stopping Fashion Show.

Taking place on 15 October – commissioned by, the International Trade Administration (TITA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA)  and executed by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) – this year, the “Textile Export Promotion Project” presents its theme “Recode the Future: RECODE 2050.” A press conference held on 23 September at the Grand Hilai Taipei revealed12 curated outfits created through cross-industry collaborations between fashion designers and textile manufacturers. This preliminary conference served as a preview of the much-anticipated Fashion Show at TITAS, which will fully unveil Taiwan’s vision for the future of textiles and fashion.

Mapping the future with 19 Taiwanese textile enterprises

The press conference gathered 19 leading Taiwanese textile companies and six designer brands (CHOIR, GIOIA PAN, oqLiq, SPFLOE, UUIN, WEAVISM) that are transforming innovative fabrics into a stage for creativity. Together, they demonstrated how Taiwan leverages sustainable material R&D, circular economy technologies and fashion design to highlight the international competitiveness of Taiwan’s textile industry.

Through strategies including inviting international buyers to Taiwan for sourcing meetings, developing high-potential textile traders, hosting the fashion show and conducting global promotional campaigns, this project aims to position Taiwan as the world’s hub for sustainable textile procurement.

The 19 participating textile companies represent a microcosm of Taiwan’s textile ecosystem:

  • Li Peng Enterprise Co Ltd leads Asia with vertical integration from polymer to fabrics
  • New Wide Enterprise Co Ltd has specialised in circular knitting for over 40 years
  • Sabrina Fashion Industrial Corp focuses on Olympic and professional sportswear
  • Singtex Industrial Co Ltd has redefined sustainable textiles worldwide with its signature S.Café® coffee yarn

Others showcased diverse innovations:

  • Asiatic Fiber Corporation highlighted its smart textile platform
  • Da Fon International Development Co Ltd showcased a skin-friendly natural fabric series
  • Eric Tex Fashion Co Ltd focused on its SUNMOR® UV protection technology
  • Grandetex Development Co Ltd highlighted cocoa fibres
  • HerMin Textile Co Ltd showcased its Natural Function Lab, which it says pushes “Comfort × Sustainability” to new heights

Meanwhile, Advance Hitech Textile International Corporation expanded into aerospace, protective and medical textiles; Hitex Textile Co Ltd applied artificial intelligence (AI) systems to create high-visibility fabrics; HWA Fune Industry Co Ltd targeted the outdoor market with its Porlite® series; N-Stars Fashion Co Ltd showcased N-FLEX dual-layer stretch fabrics; Paltex Company Ltd displayed its advanced recycling technologies, while Ta Cherng Embroidery Co Ltd promoted sustainable custom embroidery.

Others included Wisher Industrial Co Ltd, which showcased its Wi-elastic fabrics; WidePlus International Co Ltd positioned itself as “The New Textile Industry;” Wild Bear Technology Co Ltd highlighted its innovative coating integration; and Wu Luen Knitting Co Ltd displayed its specialism in warp and circular knittin. Together, the companies form a complete landscape spanning sports, fashion, industry and lifestyle.

When fabric meets fashion

For the first time, the project facilitated cross-sector collaborations between Taiwan’s designers and textile manufacturers. Designers transformed cutting-edge sustainable fabrics and accessories into fashion-forward garments, delivering powerful expressions of “Textile Technology × Sustainable Innovation”.

The highlight lies not only in the fabrics themselves but also in the two-way decoding between designers and textile makers:

  • Textile companies’ in-house brands such as CHOIR (Sabrina Fashion Industrial Corp), SPFLOE (Grandetex Development Co Ltd) and WEAVISM (HerMin Textile Co Ltd) redefined textile value with urban aesthetics, street energy and local craftsmanship.
  • Designer brands GIOIA PAN, oqLiq, and UUIN interpreted Taiwan’s textiles through knitwear language, Oriental minimalism and cultural depth, translating them into globally resonant, sustainability-driven fashion statements.
