Kornit launches footwear solution at ITMA Asia

Kornit Digital says it is replacing complexity with creativity, and analogue with digital. At ITMA Asia + CITME, the company is introducing its scalable digital production to sports and athleisure footwear.

Kornit Digital has launched a commercial digital footwear solution for sports and athleisure at ITMA Asia + CITME Singapore 2025, after two years of development and brand collaboration.

The digital textile print provider has developed technology that has produced more than one million pairs of sports shoes sold globally under leading brands. It targets roughly one billion decorated shoe uppers per year and aims to prove that digital footwear manufacturing has moved beyond concept and “is now a fully scaled commercial reality”.

Deployments began with two manufacturers in China and is expanding to customers in Vietnam and Germany. The solution emphasises a single-step digital workflow, durability, design flexibility, and reduced water, energy use, waste, and inventory through near-shore production.
