Join TITAS 2026 – the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show – as it celebrates 30 years of spotlighting innovation across the textile & apparel supply chain. The 30th edition of the region’s leading tradeshow will once again be taking place in Hall 1 of the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan, from 6-8 October 2026.
With strong industry support across the industry, TITAS remains a key platform for expanding Taiwan’s global outreach and strengthening partnerships, further showcasing the nation’s leadership in sustainable and functional textiles.
Registration is now open for the 30th edition of TITAS, which will continue the industry focus on Innovation and Sustainability – two key drivers of development for the industry. As such, TITAS will showcase the global textile industry's advancements in textile innovation and research and will explore three key themes: Sustainability, Functional Applications and Intelligent Manufacturing.
TITAS 2026: Core Exhibition Pillars
1. Sustainability
TITAS has long had a focus on sustainable materials and manufacturing and now circularity will be at the core of the event. Textile-to-textile recycling and monomaterial design will be two key drivers of circularity across the Taiwanese textile market. What’s more, Taiwan’s textile industry is undergoing a paradigm shift characterised by cross-industry circular synergy, where the boundaries between textile manufacturing and high-tech electronics are blurring. This is exemplified by unique 'bi-directional' innovation: leading Taiwan-based firms are upcycling textile waste into high-performance resin for 3C electronics and others are migrating their precision optical film expertise into the textile sector to create eco-friendly, solvent-free functional membranes. This interdisciplinary material migration not only maximises resource efficiency but also establishes a resilient, closed-loop ecosystem that redefines sustainable manufacturing on a global scale.
A focus on bio-based materials is also set to increase visitor and exhibitor numbers at this year’s TITAS exhibition. With keen interest in the market from across brands and retailers, the Taiwan event will host a number of companies developing functional yarns and materials from agricultural waste such as oyster shells, fish scales and coconut shells to name a few.
2. Functional applications
With its technical knowledge, manufacturing capabilities and skills, Taiwan is the epicentre for functional and technical textiles. At this year’s event, the spotlight remains on the convergence of high-performance textiles and environmental responsibility. Industrial applications for technical textiles will take centre stage, featuring advanced materials engineered for automotive interiors, aerospace composites, geotextiles, medical and protective textiles for hazardous industrial environments. Through the emphasis on high-performance recycled polymers and innovative bio-based resins and materials for industrial use, TITAS remains the premier destination to discover the technical textiles and specialised components required to meet the rigorous safety and sustainability standards of the global manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.
As well as this functional fabrics for sports and outdoorwear will be highlighted, once again making TITAS the ideal place to discover high-performance, high-value textiles and products with functional applications that can meet the sustainability quotas of brands and retailers.
3. Intelligent Manufacturing
To thrive in a volatile economic landscape, the textile & apparel supply chain must be both transparent and resilient, with digitalisation the key to unlocking this agility.
TITAS provides a stage for the latest in Industry 4.0 technology and intelligent manufacturing, featuring cutting-edge automation and AI-driven systems that enable lean manufacturing. The show’s exhibitors will demonstrate how these technologies are paramount to protecting margins and scaling growth despite rising costs, offering solutions that represent the future of a traceable, efficient and future-proof production model.
Boosting success from 2025
In 2025, 338 exhibitors from 10 countries across the globe showcased their innovations, with booth numbers exceeding 900. The event saw almost 32,000 visitors from 37 countries across the three days, generating an estimated US$60 million in future business opportunities. As Asia’s premier sourcing platform, TITAS showcased high-performance, sustainable textiles with functional properties and AI-integrated solutions, reinforcing Taiwan’s leadership in functional and sustainable textile innovation.
Last year’s edition saw an increase in attendance from global brands, including UK-headquartered cycling and lifestyle brand, Rapha, who commented on their time at the show: “There’s a lot of exciting developments coming out of Taiwan. TITAS was an opportunity to see these exciting technologies all in one place. A lot of the suppliers we met at TITAS were taking the necessary steps in order to align with our strict auditing requirements. It was great to see the progress being made with textile-to-textile recycling in the Taiwanese supply chain. We would love the opportunity to return to TITAS in the future.”
Comprehensive exhibit range
Key exhibits driving these impressive visitor numbers include: fibres (including recycled, bio-based and technical fibres), filaments, yarns, fabric (functional fabrics, fashion fabrics), apparel (ready to wear and sweater apparel as well as functional apparel), accessories, trims, dyestuffs and auxiliaries, sewing equipment, textile machinery, textile-related technology and services (including software). Although functional textiles & apparel forms a significant part of the tradeshow’s offering, industrial textiles, nonwovens, upholstery and home textiles are also well represented.
