Marking its 30th anniversary, the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS) 2026 unites 410 global exhibitors in Taipei around one bold idea: showcasing textiles that are smarter, greener and made better, from recycled fibres to AI-powered factories.

The 30th TITAS, taking place from 6-8 October 2026 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, brings together 410 exhibitors from 12 countries across 977 booths. Marking its 30th anniversary, TITAS continues to serve as a leading sourcing and networking platform connecting Taiwan's textile industry with international buyers and partners.

International participation is also expanding. The show welcomes a new Italy Pavilion organised by the Italian Trade Agency, while the Korea Pavilion has grown significantly with the return of Hyosung and a delegation of textile and dyeing companies from Daegu-Gyeongbuk. The Japan Pavilion, led by the Ishikawa and Fukui Fiber Associations, also returns with a selection of functional textile innovations. Global companies including Centric, ICL, Heraeus, Polygiene and bluesign will further contribute their latest technologies and sustainability solutions.

This year's exhibition highlights three key themes – Sustainability, Functional Applications and Intelligent Manufacturing – reflecting the industry's transformation toward circularity, high-performance materials and digitalised production.

The exhibition will showcase high-performance textiles designed for sportswear, outdoorwear and the health and medical textile industry. Exhibitors will spotlight sustainable materials that offer added functional properties such as abrasion resistance, thermal regulation and breathability. They will also highlight the integration of data and AI to deliver low-carbon, high-quality, traceable solutions – reinforcing Taiwan's leadership in sustainability.

Sustainability and functional innovation

Circularity and performance converge at the Formosa Plastics Group Pavilion (Booth M1101), where FCFC, Nan Ya Plastics, Formosa Plastics and Formosa Taffeta present ‘Be Greener. Go Further.’ across seven themed zones. Highlights include FCFC's closed-loop nylon and recycled polypropylene lines cutting carbon footprint by up to 62%, Nan Ya's new cool-touch quick-dry filament and Nyudex® mono-material elastic yarn, Formosa Plastics' vertically integrated Tairyfil carbon fibre, and Formosa Taffeta's eSMORE-TEX® nano-spun waterproof fabric alongside its partnership with Switzerland's Schoeller® brand.

That same push toward closed-loop performance runs through several of the show's biggest names. Far Eastern New Century (Booth M2101) brings its TopCool® Petal moisture-management fibre — already chosen by adidas for national teams at the 2026 FIFA World Cup — alongside an expanding textile-to-textile (T2T) recycling platform and CO₂-based AirTek polyurethane technology, while Lealea Group (Booth M2301) turns discarded fishing nets into new fibre through its Forever Yarn range. Elsewhere, Everest Textile (Booth M1316) takes a similar circular approach with a T2T-ready mono-material stretch series and its iF Design Award-winning O:CTION ocean-plastic apparel line. Eclat Textile (Booth M1402) presents this year under the theme Airflow, using engineered knit structures to enhance air movement between body, fabric and environment across its Drylight, Woveknit, Nual and Aerojaq fabric lines, in aim of delivering breathability, quick-dry performance and sustainable comfort.

Circularity takes many forms elsewhere on the floor. Grandetex (Booth M1503) turns cacao pod husks into SECAO®, a new recycled nylon yarn, while Chain Yarn (Booth M1302) showcases cooling, recycled yarn technologies that cut water use by 84%. Shinkong Synthetic Fibers Corporation (Booth M2201) adds Neolast, a circularity-focused stretch fibre now in full commercial production for TITAS 2026. Taiwan Taffeta Fabric (Booth M1315) and Tex-Ray Industrial (Booth M2501) push functional fashion further still, the latter debuting ELASTIX, a spandex-free stretch PET fibre engineered for full recyclability.

Sustainability and performance meet elsewhere too: New Wide Group (Booth M2401) grounds its Performance Pulse, Skinergy and Everyday Rhythm collections in SBTi-verified emissions targets, and Grand Textile (Booth M2202) pairs patented single-bath dyeing with a newly biofuelled Taiwan plant that has already cut emissions from dyeing to finishing by 40%. Rounding out the zone, Zig Sheng Industrial (Booth M1202) expands its Nylon 66 range with a new deep-dye yarn for richer colour and more efficient dyeing, while Apollo IPL's HOII (Booth M2402) offers UPF 50+ protection through light-conversion fabrics that need no chemical additives.

Intelligent manufacturing: A data-driven future

Digitalisation threads through this year's show: Oshima (Booth M2701) demonstrates PlySight™, an AI-driven defect-to-piece production simulation within its Smart Factory Platform, which the company says helps manufacturers cut re-cutting costs and optimise material use. Centric Software (Booth M2205) joins the seminar programme to explore how AI is reshaping design-to-production workflows for Taiwan's garment manufacturers.

Meanwhile, the pavilion of the Department of Industrial Technology, MOEA (Booth N3101), unites six research institutes – including the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), the Taiwan Textile Research Institute (TTRI), the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), the Footwear & Recreation Technology Research Institute, the Plastics Industry Development Center and the Printing Technology Research Institute – to present 40 forward-looking technologies across three themes: Sustainability, Functional Applications and Smart Manufacturing.

Also making its TITAS debut, the Industrial Development Administration (IDA), MOEA (Booth M1801), brings together the TTF, the TTRI, the ITRI and the Footwear & Recreation Technology Research Institute around three pillars – Digital Integration, High-Value Innovation and Sustainable Future – to showcase how institutional research is translating into industrial practice.

Seminars: Expanding horizons

TITAS's seminar programme, running 6-7 October across Conference Rooms 402-404, brings together voices on circularity, carbon and digital transformation. Sessions include the TTRI's outlook on textile circularity and recycled-fibre applications; Heraeus's catalytic antimicrobial technology; bluesign's sustainability solutions; and expert briefings on the EU's Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements. A dedicated track from the Taiwan Feather Exporters' Association explores sustainable down and supply chain traceability, while SGS Taiwan addresses thermal comfort testing and circular material verification.

Alongside the seminars, a stage area features fashion shows, new product launches and trend forecasts — a dynamic platform for industry networking and inspiration.

Celebrating 30 Years with the Launch of Taiwan Textile Select

Elsewhere, the Trend Zone brings together outstanding fabric innovations from domestic and international exhibitors alike, organised around four themes – Sport, Technical, Circularity and Sustainability – spanning everything from performance sportswear fabrics to industrial protection, recycled materials and low-impact processing.

The Trend Zone is extended by a new addition titled Taiwan Textile Select, making its debut this year. Rather than fabrics alone, Taiwan Textile Select showcases how Taiwan-based innovators translate the same four themes – Sport, Technical, Circularity and Sustainability – into finished apparel, pairing textile materials with garment design. Ultimately, the exhibition connects Taiwan's manufacturing depth with exceptional design and craftsmanship, offering a fresh view of Taiwan's capabilities from material R&D and technical innovation through to the finished garment.

Connecting industry

Driven by growing global demand for sustainable and innovative functional textiles, TITAS continues to strengthen its reputation as a crucial hub connecting Taiwan's manufacturers with international partners, drawing delegations, buyers and sourcing teams from major markets worldwide.

While one-on-one business matchmaking ensures meaningful interactions that lead to business expansion, TITAS remains a leading event shaping the future of the sustainable textile and apparel industry.
