The DiloGroup has installed a laboratory line for the small scale evaluation of new fibres, including for the processing of carbon. It has a working width of 0.6m, with specially-adapted suction and filter technology.

This is in addition to the three company’s three existing production lines which have industrial working widths of 2.5m to 3.5m, and enables Dilo to test novel and expensive fibres for processability and application.

The DiloGroup has delivered more than 260 complete production lines for the nonwovens industry, for various products and applications including floor coverings, automotive fabrics, geotextiles, filter media, synthetic leather and natural fibre felts, in addition to disposables which are used in cosmetics, medicine and hygiene.

The Germany-based group has 49 foreign representations and subsidiaries in Shanghai, Moscow and Istanbul, as well as Dilo Incorporated in Charlotte, North Carolina. From last year, the Moscow representation stocks spare parts avoiding customs clearance delays and the office in Shanghai will also offer this service in due course.
