EFI Reggiani has unveiled a new digital print solution debuting at the ITMA Asia + CITME trade show. The Reggiani BLAZE is an entry-level industrial scanning solution, designed to offer textile companies an opportunity to enter the burgeoning digital textile print arena for the first time.
“Our customers are our number one priority no matter how big or small they are,” says Adele Genoni, senior vice president and general manager at EFI Reggiani. “With the EFI Reggiani BLAZE, we are able to offer an ideal solution for companies that want to enter the industrial digital textile printing space. We are excited to able to offer such a solution and look forward to embarking on this journey with our customers.”
Launched as part of the company’s 75th birthday celebrations, EFI Reggiani says that its BLAZE printer is a 1.8-metre wide compact solution, that offers low-maintenance, a built-in ink-recirculation system with level sensors and a print head crash protective system, to deliver high-class sustainable printing with a superior uptime to other solutions available on the market.

Users will be able to digitally print fabrics at speeds of up to 125 linear metres per hour at a printing resolution of up to 600 x 1,200 dpi. Furthermore, the printer is bedecked with 8,300 dpi dual channel print heads and is able to print at an eight-colour configuration with a variable drop size - enhancing the colour palette for printed items.
Real-time image processing and flexible queue management are also key features of the BLAZE solution, along with a continuous belt washing unit containing an air blade and roller sponge to eradicate water and unwanted fabric hairs. The market launch is not yet known for the product, but EFI hopes that its debut at ITMA Asia will show attendees the machine’s capabilities.
More to come from EFI Reggiani
The BLAZE is not the only product announcement by EFI Reggiani debuting at ITMA Asia. The company says it is launching its AQUA water-based inks into the Chinese market, as well as an enhanced version of its existing TERRA Silver printer.
“Despite the impact of the pandemic, EFI Reggiani has continued to invest and develop the next trailblazing technology for the textile market,” explains Genoni.
Product launches at in-person events are a distant memory to some industry professionals but the BLAZE printer, and the company’s other new solutions, are on display at EFI Reggiani’s booth for visitors and other exhibitors to view.
EFI Reggiani is exhibiting at Hall 5, Booth D08.
