Vibgyor Exposition, a part of Aditya Group, has confirmed that two new events will take place in Uzbekistan from 2019; these are Screen Print Uzbek 2019 and the concurrent Garmentech Uzbek 2019.
The two exhibitions will be held on 28-30 May 2019 at Kurgazma Savdo Markazi in Tashkent, an unexplored market located in West Central Asia.
Commenting on the new exhibition, Devang Sheth, director of Vibgyor Exposition, says: “It gives us immense pleasure to announce our new overseas venture, a trade exhibition in Uzbekistan. With over 25 years of experience in organising the exclusive Screen Print India exhibition, we are now exploring potential overseas markets for similar events. In the past we have organised exhibitions in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, but Uzbekistan is the new market that we have identified.”
Sheth adds: “During the interaction with the Uzbek industry experts, we have discovered that the country’s printing market has a positive attitude towards adopting newer technologies and techniques in printing.
“The printing industry there keeps on updating technology and knowledge to build capacities and capabilities to undertake any type of printing services. Considering the needs of the Uzbekistan printing industry and textile industry, Screen Print Uzbekistan 2019 will be organised by us with the theme New Business Horizons.”
The new exhibition will focus on screen printing, textile printing, digital printing, sublimation printing and textile and apparel machinery. Besides Indian manufacturers and suppliers, Vibgyor Exposition is also approaching many international companies to participate in the two new events.
“Vibgyor Exposition will make all the efforts to make this event a grand success,” says Sheth. “The organisers will undertake massive online and offline promotional campaigns in Uzbekistan and neighbouring countries.
“Print service providers and print buyers in Uzbekistan and surrounding countries will have a great opportunity to explore products and services in the field of textile, digital, sublimation, graphics and signage printing as well as garment and apparel machinery,” he adds. “At the same time, the exhibitors will have the opportunity to explore potentials in a new emerging market.”
A lot of attention regarding emerging markets in Asia has taken place in the South-East region following new environmental legislation and wage increases in China, which has seen many businesses move production elsewhere.
However, there is a lot of potential for development in Uzbekistan. The country relies on the strength of its cotton production and textile machinery sales also contribute to the country’s growing economy, which is why Vibgyor Exposition is keen to start a new event in the country.
