The German company Emtec Electronic GmbH is attending Techtextil North America 2019 in Raleigh, North Carolina, US from 26-28 February, together with the representative Technidyne Corporation. Exhibiting at Booth 1443, the company is presenting its innovative softness testing instrument for the textile and nonwovens industry.
According to the company, the TSA – Softness Analyzer enables an objective evaluation of the softness, roughness and stiffness of a textile fabric. Included in the softness measurement is the measurement of the viscoelastic, elastic and plastic properties, which are represented by the elasticity, plasticity and hysteresis. With an extra module, the compressibility can be measured.
