Ontex has launched a new brand of diapers, named Little Big Change, which are available through an online subscription service. This, says Ontex, “allows parents to focus on what really matters”.
The diapers contain fluff in the absorbent pad, which is made from cellulose. It is bleached with oxygen and is totally chlorine free, according to Ontex. The inner layer is made of polypropylene, a very soft material described as ‘danger free’. It is this part that is in direct contact with a baby’s skin, which is why it contains no additives or harmful products. The outer layer is made of polyethylene, woven very lightly to allow the skin to breathe, says Ontex. The anti-leak barrier is also very soft with elastic straps that allow freedom of movement.
Ontex adds that, as safety is its priority, the company will continue to test its nappies regularly in independent laboratories, and it’ll publish the results every time.
The cost is between 0,19€ (size 1) and 0,38€ (size 6) per delivered nappy, “offering an indisputable price-quality ratio”, the company says.
The diapers are hypoallergenic, certified and provide up to 12 hours of protection. “And all this delivered in a sustainable production model, using 100% green electricity,” says Ontex.
