Rimtex, a manufacturer and exporter of textile machinery accessories for yarn production, is highlighting its ‘spinner centric innovations’ at its booth at WTiN’s Innovate Textile & Apparel virtual trade show until 30 October 2020.

The company, based in India, features a product portfolio that ranges from Silver management systems, rings and travellers, specialised castors for textile applications, material handling solutions and intra-facility electric locomotives.

Rimtex has doubly ventured into Industry 4.0 solutions with WIZCAN, a software-based system that the company claims to ‘usher in the era of Silver Intelligence’ for the spinning industry. According to Rimtex, WIZCAN imparts the spinner with new monitoring, controlling and quality management capabilities at every stage of yarn preparation.

The company notes that the industry has experienced drastic change over the past few years, leading to new demand for the aforementioned technological solutions: “The global textile industry has gone through a sea change. Add to it the impact of the worldwide pandemic, [which has resulted] in a shift in the needs of the textile industry as a whole.

“For years, many spinners have either shifted to new generation spinning machines or are in the process of investing in the same. The questions currently asked by spinners are: how can we make the most of our machinery investments? How can we optimise our yarn quality? How can we gain more profits?”

Rimtex explains that its products “excel in the dual parameters of quality and yield”, thus answering some of the above questions.

Visitors to WTiN’s Innovate Textile & Apparel virtual trade show can explore the entire range of Rimtex products and solutions at the ongoing exhibition; additionally, the company will host an online seminar, which explains in detail their line-up and its key benefits.
