DTG Digital, a brand of Your Embroidery Services Ltd (YES Ltd) and Impression Technology, is known for its Direct to Garment (DTG) printers with tens of thousands of installations to date since 2004. Earlier this year the company launched its QM8 DTG machine, which supplements the company’s popular M-series range. The DTG-QM8, is now in the central DTG Europe demonstration facility based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire and will be on show at P&P Live! in Birmingham at the NEC on 20-22 January 2019.

DTG Digital's QM8 machine

The company says that this industrial production-ready textile printer from DTG Digital delivers sharp colours and clarity at a highly competitive price, whilst providing a greener solution. An enhanced eight-colour ink range delivers an extended colour gamut over four print heads, great hand and light-fastness to all-natural fibres, 100% polyester and blends, and has been hugely successful with applications for cut piece textile and even full hide-leather digital printing, the company continues.

John-Paul Burton, sales director of YES Ltd UK and European suppliers of the DTG Digital range, says: “DTG Digital’s technology continues to meet emerging trends in the market. With this new model we aim to establish new production and quality standards that other companies will find it difficult to compete with at the price point, giving DTG Digital machine operators an advantage.”

The DTG-QM8 prints up to four products in just over 30 seconds, which works out at upwards of 300 printed pieces per hour, the company adds. Compatible with either pigment or reactive digital inks, the QM8 offers a total print area space of up to 1,900mm width x 1,100mm depth. In addition, the machine is available with a CMYK + W ink solution or Dual CMYK only platform.

The DTG Digital QM8 will also be making several appearances within the EU market such as C-Print in France and FESPA in Germany. It also due to be showcased in Poland and Italy and other German exhibitions.
