WPT Nonwovens, a manufacturer and distributor of nonwoven materials, has opened a new facility in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, US. The property has been transformed into a new state-of-the-art nonwovens manufacturing facility.
The new facility has provided WPT Nonwovens with 100,000,000 sqm of capacity, ample room for the addition of a new A.Celli spooling line. According to WPT, the new equipment addition expands its production capabilities with the ability to produce high volumes of air-through bonded nonwoven fabric for the manufacture of hygiene and personal care nonwovens.
WPT says it is currently accepting trial orders and welcoming prospective customers to tour its operations. It will also continue to “ramp up” its new operations to meet the growing demand for domestically-sourced quality nonwoven fabrics.
The company adds that the new facility will also boost the Beaver Dam community, providing a robust new source for economic growth. It also means a significant amount of new job opportunities for those in the area.
